Each year, the organization sponsors a free, family-friendly Christmas Celebration with food, entertainment, and gifts for children. Our Vision
Char Bucha’s Community Outreach is a Northwest Indiana based nonprofit founded by Charmaine Buchanan after God placed it on her heart to give back to the community in a meaningful way. What began as a personal commitment to serve has grown into a joyful movement of generosity and grace.
Each year, Char Bucha’s hosts a free Christmas Celebration that is open to the public, providing food, fun, entertainment, and toys for children in underserved neighborhoods. With the support of dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and local partners, this effort has brought laughter and light to families throughout Northwest Indiana and beyond.
Fueled by love, led by faith, and grounded in community, Char Bucha’s Community Outreach continues to plant seeds of hope where it is needed most.
